I'm plannig to buy  wedge ports heads, my engine is 2110 82 x 90.5 with cb fuel injection  125 cam  nos 05080 system
I like the idea to stay with 90.5 size, I never like the opened size of the 94 at the head and the block

questions

1.- how much nitrous can I run with 90.5 pistons ?
2. If I upgrade to 94 is it true that exist 94 cylinder barrels that fits inside the 90.5 ,92 size bored already in my block ?

I see that you don't have many responses here so I'll try to help what I can.

1. I think you can get away about 50hp-75hp shot. If you go more, you really should be using a forged piston.
The only experience I can draw on is turbo applications. We can typically go 15-18psi of boost before a forged piston is really required. That equates to about 100hp increase over normally aspirated configuration.

1.5. you may not get much response on this topic. Not too many folks run N2O on VW motors. Everyone I have ever seen do it ends up with a broken stuff pretty quick.  There are plenty of experts who get away with it, but I don't recomend doing it unless you really know what you are doing.
You cannot let the motor go Lean NOT ONE TIME. Or it will go bang.

2. Yes, You can purchase 94 barrels that are cut down at the base to fit a 90.5mm case. It works fine. You will still have to bore the heads out larger.

2.5. If you are serious about running N2O, then I really would hesitate to run 94 cylinders. They will crack very easily if things are not perfect. 90.5 cyl is much thicker and will tolerate some abuse before letting go.

So, let's say you run N2O with 94's. If you have a "issue" with fuel dellivery, you will take out your rod bearings, melt pistons AND crack the cyls.

If you run 90.5's you will just take out the rod bearings and melt pistons.

Thanks a lot for your answer

ok, I will bought heads for 90.5 I will stay with 90.5

questions

1.- exists 90.5 forged pistons because I only found 94 ?

2.- my nitrous kit came with some jets and says that 18/22 wil gave me 60 to 90 hp, is the smaller size ,that I pretend to start , but reading other posts says that when running fuel injection then the jets need to be square is that true ?

3.- what about running  20/22 nitrous -fuel , still is reach

What RPMs are you going to inject the nitrous?   Is the nitrous going to be added as a gas or a liquid?

Have you tried www.ultimateaircooled.com? They have a section that talks about nitrous motors. You might get a better feed back on that site.

Put a turbo on it and throw that nitrous in the trash. =)
