Is there a way to lock a mallory distributor that is reverseable? As much as they cost I would hate to ruin it if I ever want to go n/a.

The Mallory Unilite is simple.
There is a window in the breaker plate that allows access to 2 screws on the advance mechanism. you can loosen the screws and slide the advance stop all the way over so that there is no movement in the mechanism.
Tighten down and you're done.
Remeber that there are 2 screws 180deg apart so you'll have to roate the dist to get at both of them.
