I went to there web site last night to see what berg heads are new and I could not find any for sale.

When I got mine, 4 years ago, they told me that Phoenix was no longer making headers. They were making railings or something but still had the specs and would knock a few sets out when production was slow.

I was lucky and they had one last GB-933S in stock.

I posted my old set, that was on my 1904, on the Samba and it was sold in 7 minutes.

Gene Berg headers are now being made by AL's Headers, then BERG cleans them up (deburs welds inside) and sells them as their own.

They never left. I talked to John back in August about a few things. They just don't have the volume on the VW side. He's a great guy with a wealth of knowledge and history. His work is top notch.
