For all you lucky folks that are going to the big go in Sac next weekend, stay out of the far right lane starting at Magic Mountain and till after Fort Tejon.  The condition is really bad.  Coming home won't be as bad but there are some bad spots.  Good luck and I wish I was going to be there with you all.

And watch for cops!! They LOVE the Grapevine. Remember-- if the freeway is 4 lanes or more, you can drive in the RIGHT 2 LANES ONLY if pulling a trailer. I should know, Ive been ticketed for it twice-- and one of those was going over the Grapevine pulling a trailer down for Troxell. Thanks John. Grin

Thanks Jim, That why I go the 138 to the 5 at gorman. You miss all the traffic in the valley and miss that first steep grade too. Of course us people who live in the I.E. can do that.

From where you pick up the 5 it really starts to get bad.
