Interesting piece with the "Race-Trim" cast in logo.

I wouldn't use that manifold with a two-barrel carburetor.  The "plenum-type" hasn't received good reviews in the various publications.  An isolated runner manifold would most likely work much better.

I dont want to use it (now I use cb fi), I want to sell some weber carbs and manifolds

but I need to know what carb is for

yes, all this carbs have the same intake manifold pattern

I have a dfav weber that fits but hits in fan shroud.

I supose that a bugspray will be the solution  but i dont have it

Holley Bugspray may fit (there were two sizes).  My friend's old '67 drag car ran a Bugspray carb on isolated runner manifold in the '80's.  It was quick!

How do you like your CB EFI?   I was tempted to go EFI instead of carbs but didn't want to spend the extra $$.  My Dellortos have been very reliable.  Many of my vintage BMW friends run dual 40 DCOE Webers...their intake "roar" is not as pleasing as downdraft carbs on the VW.

cb efi
Originally I wanted the quicktune but I have a nitrous kit, and pat downs told me that quicktune not work with nitrous, then he sold me the ultra competition fi

I cant tell you about it, because i only start  the engine with efi on a bench

Im still finishing the irs conversion, but i don have time.

And I need to install the fuel lines but was more dificult than I thought

Instructions says no hose

then I already have stainless tubes from fuel pumps to engine but I cant found the smaller 5/16 lines to return. At the same time Im installing the hoses for ac, all inside the transmission tunnel

But fi starts at first attempt, tune up was easier, balancing carbs.  and I only tuned the idle. but sounds great.

i dont believe this gave more power than ida but I hope more than my idfs
with better fuel economy than ida.

You dont need to replace jets, no more clogged idle jets.

What does CB do for elevation/barometric correction?  I've looked into a few EFI systems, and none are really clear about how they compensate for it.  I've heard that Megasquirt richens the mixture (by injecting more fuel) as you climb, which seems to be the opposite of what they should be doing.  The simple solution I was given (for MS) was to reset the ECU by rebooting the system (turning the car off and then restarting), but that seems a little crude.
