Whatever happened to them? I saw them in HVWs twice. CB was making them. Once, in the new stuff they found at Bugorama feature and once on that blue Ghia with the DTM shroud & no decklid. I googled it and I found one topic on it from another company but no pictures. Does anyone know anything?

Are you talking about the IDA "look alike" throttle bodies that had the injector hidden in the middle where the float bowl would be located in an actual IDA Carb? I don't think CB was actually manufacturing them. I remember them being in an magazine I think was called Engine Masters from Popular Hotrodding a little while before they were in Hot VW's, or CB's ad. The article noted that the throttle bodies were in a kit called "Classic Fuel Injection" from a company called Dynatek. Either Dynatek makes them, and CB was using them in their kits for VW's, or vise versa. Here's a link to a Cobra Forum talking about installing one of Dynatek's Kits on a Ford Engine. http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93229

I know Dynateck is out. I couldn't find out very much on the web. Dynatek is out, as in, out of stock, or no longer selling them?

if you already have the carbs why not put injecctors in the manifolds and use the 48s as throttle bodies, that is if you've got the room.

I just couldn't remember your name during the last post. I kept thinking Johnny Walker (blue rag). Won't forget anymore. How do they run?

Funny you ask, guys the only difference that I could tell is ther're quieter at idle, but at higher end, just like the original ida's loud as could be, crisp power, no stumble between transition, like I said beautifull at idle off the pedal. Plus everything just bolts right up. pretty simple piece. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I wanna get some and just put them away.....so I don't have to scour the planet looking for some when I can actually build something with them.
