I have started building a 2276 and didn't buy a cam with that was already clearanced for a stroker crank. I am using EMPI rods and have very minimal clearance (actually bumping each other) issues. I need to know what is the acceptable clearance for this issue?
Thank you,
Reese

Cam is clearanced 0.040. I searched and could'nt find anything about balancing the cam after it is clearanced for the crank. Is this an issue?
Thanks alot guys,
Reese

I have built engines as close as .016" with no issues..

I have tore engines down that others have built and seen less then that without issues, But If I had a choice .030"+

With Lifters to cam .040"+
