Doing an inspection of my case and did the wobble  test between old Scat lifters and new CB ultra lights. What type of fit (clearance) is allowable? Did a search on the forum and didn't find what I was looking for.

I think it is .001, more than that, the lifters will wobble in the bores.

Radial play from the Bently book is .0008" to .0024", wear limit is .0047".

Do you have a Bentley manual?

The wear limit is when the dia of the bore is 19.05mm.  New bores are 19.00-19.02mm.

Thanks for the replies. Yes I have a Bentley manual, just didn't think to look there.
