so how long does header wrap smell like it is burning. i installed the wrap months ago and i was just able to take my car out for a ride today.
it's been a long time since i was able to drive it but the i always remember what it smells like but this time it had a new smell and it stinks like hell.
i installed the wrap with water but i did not seal it. should i have sealed it and is it to late to do now.

How do u seal it? I've used that for my last three engines and it seems as if the smell never fully goes away. Maybe it got wet and mildewed?

the other thing you may notice is that the wrap will destroy headers fast unless they are of high quality SS.

hey glenn. yeah i have to adjust the shifter a bit but yes it is back together. i need a car to drive.
the bronco has been in my shop getting the new efi engine i built. it is almost done and it is going into the
exhaust shop this week. we'll see how the bug likes 93 octane gas too. i am going to try and wash it up
later today and blow off the cobwebs litterelly. i am going to hopefully play with the jetting too this week.
i have not seen your car go blowing past my house lately how's your running. after reading about the wrap
on my headers stinking up the car it might be coming off and a stainless header might be in the works then.

I walked past the house today and saw it under the cover. If you need help, give me a call.
