Here's where I spend a bunch of my time.  It's a detached 2-car garage that I like to call - "home"

The color is called mignonette green.  I really like it - it's very unique and makes a good cal-looker color.  When I got the car it had been painted white at some point, but I put-it back to it's original color.  It's a '59

I actually did all of the body and paint-work in this very same garage!  It was my first attempt at a "Resto" - it turned out pretty good!

I do have 230 out there....that sounds like a pretty good deal for that unit!   I've been using kerosene.  It works well, but it kinda sucks with the fumes and all.   Maybe I'll check into that.....does it make your meter spin like a top?  Wink

No not too bad...its runs till ya think dang its hot and turn the dial (thermostat) down then it will go on and off to keep at desired setting. My shops insulated pretty good and once i get the chill off I'm working in a T-Shirt.Really great heater.Great instuctions too and if ya ain't scrared of that Fuse Box ya can wire it up and save some electrician money too.Yeah I used to use the kerosene Torpedo and Propane with Ceramic and just got aweful headaches out when cold.Grin

Here's my standard 20 x 20, 2 car detached.  Doesn't have a VW in it at the moment, but it will soon.

Its usually not this messy, but I'm finishing the wiring/plumbing on my bud's '68 Camaro (275 drag radial, True Street), have half of his crap in there, some boxes from my unlce's start-up business, and a bunch of crap I have for sale on thesamba...

Soon, very soon, it will be home to Project Unlimited Street, Lonestar Edition...

I have been cruising it around a little bit... It is a killer, ass dyno says it has a LOT more power.

I have to pull it out and have the tin coated and do a little detail work. Gotta do a cage, thinking about doing it myself, that is how I justified the TIG.

That Dayton heater looks to be a good buy, and if you guys give it the A ok, I think I might just order one up. It finally managed to get above the freezing point here one day last week, but now we are back to single digits overnight and mid teens during the day. What do you think it means when I go outside in 15 degree temps and it does'nt feel all that bad?
