This is my garage space (partially through a rear end conversion... Cheesy):

I don't have a good pic of my basement engine area/machine shop.

Mine is a 24x30 steel garage in the back yard with alley access. Its very cramped because i have to much crap. When I closed my big shop I gave away and threw away several trailer loads.Anyway here's where I play now.

That door in pic below go's out to alley...gets my car all dusty too....

This other corner below is the nasty, clutered up mess....Welding,grinding etc I know where everything is though....NOT!

Here ya go...When new and empty they really look big huh.... Grin

I added two more pics to mine...I put in a 28,000 btu wall AC this last summer and a Dayton elecric heater this fall...I can stay nice and comfy out there now....Grin

Damn-- I'm so jealous of all you guys with all that space... I have to open the garage door and pull the car out if I need to get underneath it or work around it...

I was 39 and retired from the USAF before I had a place with a garage....many times just out in the yard, driveway or where ever.
Work hard and be patient is all I can suggest....best of luck to you who's dream garage has not come yet. Grin

Thanks for the kind words guys.
Darren and vwxtc4free noticed my bike collection!
1997 Beta Techno (old, but awesome machine and better than me!) and my partially restored swing bike. My childhood neighbor was gonna throw it out! Saved it from the trash Grin

Looks big enough to me Terry.  I have to stuff  3 bugs in a 2 car garage.  Cant work on one without moving at least one other to the driveway.  But I cant complain,  its in the 70's here in good old ORANGE COUNTY. Cool Grin

My garage is not much, but at least it keeps the car inside.  Some of you guys have great setups!

Some nice shops here gentlemen.  (Especially Terry's)   Cool

I'm limited to the 1 1/2 garage side of my 3-car garage for my stuff.  I need something much bigger.

If you like garages or want ideas, you gotta check this place out:  http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/

Usually my wife's car is parked next to it so I don't have a ton of room to work.  And of course I have to move the lawn mower to back it out.
I usually stand up there at the deck to do work, most recently I rebuilt my DCNFs.

I keep losing my carb spray and buying new, then i found all of the ones I'd bought.     Grin

I was not reading the posts just flipping thru I see the distributor machine and I think that must be Glen (I don't know him ). I do know he has the machine from prior posts. Scott looks like you live in a low laying area the way your house is built on a pedestal and the window protection, looks beautiful tho.

LOL! No Finger Chopping!

It's sold up here in Canada under the name of Sharpe machine tools, but it's a Tiawan copy of the baby Bridgeport. It's been serving my needs for Aircooled stuff perfectly, and not too spendy.

cheers.
