Guys, I’ve got thousands of miles on the G-Down system and never bottomed out the tips on any speed bumps, in fact when backing out of a driveway too fast once I hit the lip of the oil screen plate  and the exhaust did not bottom. I haven’t received any requests for balance tubes yet but it’s easy to do. I ran one on the first prototype and will produce production units with them when requested. The G-Down Bug videos on YouTube give you some idea of the sound but you have to view several to get a feel. On video G-Down Bug 4 for instance, when I’m accelerating past the apex of the turn the car sounds like Steve McQueen’s Mustang in the movie Bullitt. On other videos the mic of the camera gets overwhelmed as the megaphone shoots a pulse at it. Overall, those who have purchased a set absolutely love it and these exhausts are making their way all over the states. As far as the price, who can compete with 45 years of the same bullcrap? This is a new, American made high quality system that will be proven to outflow your merged header and single Phat muffler. Anyone that has really studied exhaust science should know that scavenging is a myth. Merging all four cylinder exhaust gasses does not speed up the flow. If it were true, you would see an 8 into 1 exhaust in Formula One. Nascar merges their exhaust for packaging and ballast considerations. As the forward dual exit exhausts make their debut at drag strips around the country and up- coming dyno tests are revealed, G-Down exhausts are here to compete with the established exhaust systems on the market. Nothing ever released publicly by the G-Down feller... which I find funny given his comment earlier in this thread about scavenging being a "myth."  I'm guessing it's not the ultra-performer it was intially made out to be, which is fine, if that's the case.  The show car scene is always in need of aesthetic-only accessories.

Maybe he will have a booth at the Fontana, CA. Bugorama, and will display the results from the testing......... NOT LIKELY though.

Claudio has them... Dyno graphs and a multi-part report as well.

Yes I did one round of evaluations.
The results were given to Gdown. I have not and will not share them otherwise.

Last week my budy that was running a Gdown exuast on his stock 1600 had me build him a 1776 with dual 34ICT webers.
I broke the cam in on the stand, and tuned the carbs and all while using my hideaway exuast system on the engine since his Gdown was still on his car on his stock 1600.
Once i was done with the engine, and finished tunning it, i called him to bring his bug over to do the engine swap. He drove it over, i took my hide away exuast system off, and put his G Down exhuast on the new engine. Installed the new 1776 with the G down and fired it up in the car, something sounded seriously wrong, sounded like it had 2 dead cylinders. I checked everything, retuned the carbs to the exuast, ended up putting biger main jets, then test drove it. Upon test driving it, i could tell all 4 cylinders were working since the power was there, so i thought to my self, maybe thats the way this exuast sounds now that the engine is basicly split now due to using dual carbs, like each side of the engine is pretty much running individually. I dont like it, im almost positive it would run better with a 4 tuned type header.  Maybe someday he will listen to me, and let me put a 4 into 1 exuast on it just to compare the differences.
