well i got my 3/8 aluminum line in the car and i have a couple other questions now. i have a -6 an male coupling that i welded to the original bung on the bottom of the tank. what i need to know is from there do you guys use hard line or braided to the filter and then the pump? and at the back of the car what do you use up to the regulator? i have braided coming off the carbs to a tee and will go to the regulator with braided. also what type fittings do you use for the hard lines? tube nut and sleeves or what?

I prefer to use the fuel pressure regulator as the TEE. One could use steel braided TEF flex hose with the AN hardware or you could use 5052-0 aluminum tubing with the sleeve & nut hardware.

Yep, the regulator makes for a nice T, you dont need another one unless you have some oddball regulator with only one out (I dont think Ive ever seen one). I use 3/8" hard line to travel the distance of the car, but use braided line to the pump, tank, regulator, and carbs. Jeg's has hard-line-to-braided adaptors, makes the job easy.

Installing a fuel shut off valve at the bottom of the tank is a very handy accessory to add during the plumbing project. Look at LPG gas valves in your local hardware store. You can find quality valves without any restrictions for less than ten dollars.
