I have old style 6 bolts Scat Flanged Crank. i'm looking for bolts replacement.  is it the same size with the new style 8 bolts?

NO, they are smaller. Call Scat, they have them last time I called.

thanks for that info's. Scat doesn't have on stock right now. but the 8 bolt style on stock.

Try a bugpak supplier.
I'd bet VW parts unlimited has them.

There were two different sizes in the six bolt style cranks from Scat.
Some were 3/8" UNF and some, 7/16" UNF.
There are a selection available from ARP,
but may need to double check the length,
and head clearance to your clutch disc.
I had to machine both ends for my application,
but other friends found their bolts went straight in from the packet.
