I have decided to buy flanged crank, what is the best thrust setup with them?

I have few times seen Jeff D:s cases, where he has put with  bronze shims with screws to the center main.

I could have these made by my own design, but where i could buy these shims?

If you wanna go that rout, just have JC enterprizes or someone reputable do the work.
It's trickey to get right and best left to the experts IMO.

I just went with the standard (special cut) T4 bearings.
They usually end up around .007-.009" thrust. That's OK for most applicatioins.
