I came across Empi's new half header that attatches to your fresh air heater boxes. Does this thing work??? Would it work for a high performance motor?
Looked pretty good, however I do not trust Empi parts. I have been told they are really making a effort to produce some quality parts........... Roll Eyes
Any feedback or write ups on this product?

Thank you

Go for a Bugpack Street max, same style but a lot better quality.

Had one on my old 1775 engine.

I assume a header uses the stock heater boxes and not J tubes.

I think it was the merged version that he was referring to, as opposed to the standard 1-3/8" heater box style, at least that's what I've gleamed from ensuing posts.

Thank you! Yea, I would need a merged 1 5/8 version. My motor runs(or ran) cool up until the accident.
Would be nice to have a affordable merged system with heat for winter! I think I would readily drive the car more often in the winter with heat!!!
     Thanks!

Get a gas heater.

Large tube heater boxes generally provide minimal heat.
