I hope everyone's been doing well.

Recently I purchased a pair of Dellorto Carbs and noticed that one has a single-inlet banjo fitting for fuel and the other has a dual-inlet fitting.

What's up with the dual-inlet? I hadn't seen one before

Is it to run fuel straight from the pump to this carb, let it fill then the fuel will go to the other off the second inlet? That's the only thing I can think it might be.

It looks just like this:

That's what it's for.

I have always loved the double Dells!  They perform even better with the CB update kit and GB Linkage.

Yes sir. I bought mine and have already rebuilt them and installed the CB update kit. I'm gonna be using the CB Hex bar linkage though. That's a very nice engine you've too!!

Thanks!  Car is for sale.

FYI - if you upgrade the manifolds to CB "big beef" type that are taller and use the Berg linkage, you will need the (2) shorter GB linkage arms meant for a Weber 48IDA.

Original arms supplied with the GB-454 crossbar kit (works great with stock CB Dellorto kit items (offset manifolds) are on the right.  New shorter arms on the left. No cutting necessary!  Al Craig of GB helped me with these on a very short notice.

Here's my engine with the original CB parts in 2005.

Yes, I'm using the CB hex bar. Works good so far. I'd like to have a GB linkage buy the shroud I'm using won't allow it.
