Anyone have any info on where I can buy a complete tree lighting system that has all the different pro light scenarios.  I heard you can order an actual tree setup and hook it up to your clutch in your car and start practicing.  thanks guys.

This one is a little cheaper and more portable. You can get a clutch pedal for it.

Not to put any pressure on you Frank, but Eric C. and Shawn Geers can get in the .420's on a .4 pro tree Wink

If you really want to practice you should get the "NHRA" led bulbs for any tree, but be warned they are about $60 a piece!!!

Kevin,
That site has the real deal, not the practice ones we have.

Here is the practice tree that Rocky Jennings and I went halves on years ago...

We got it from either Jegs or Summit.

It came with buttons that you can control by hand to simulate a car with a trans brake, but we ended up making these two practice "cars" with micro switches on the clutch pedals.  Also, we set up our cars where as we could plug in the tree to them.  Practicing on this tree, using my pocket practice tree, and coming up with a routine all helped to be able cut better lights!

thanks guys for all the input.  I will definitely go with the led lights.  Bob, I already came to the conclusion that I would get spanked out of the hole shot, but the fat lady doesn't sing until you cross the finish line, so there's enough track to catch up Wink

ah whats a hundreth or two between racers Tongue

now, after both cars stage, how much time does the starter have to push the button.. is it immediatly as in when the last car lights the staging bulb....

i think i have seen in the past where two racers were having a stageing dual and the starter would be pissed and wait a tad longer?Huh

I run the same setup you asked about in my drag car,use the same switch on my wheel for the delay box and for my practice tree.I have a coupler I unplug  to change from one cord to the other, that way when you find your cars rollout and your cars reaction times you can transfer that info from your box to the practice tree.Every button reacts differantly, might as well practice with the one you race.
