Where to get custom crankshaft? I have a desire for 86 stroke porsche rod journal crank and all T4 mains + T4 flywheel bolt pattern.

This may not have any sense, but would prefer this kind of crank.  Do not ask why Grin
Is it possible get custom made billet crank at about $2000? Euro is my currency Cool

Engine will be for street/strip/track, 2386cc, nickies, jpm heads fuelinjection.

I asked pauter and m-spec, they said that they can't offer this kind of crank.

I have collected list where is possible to get custom made crank

http://www.crower.com/contact-us

http://www.moldexcrankshaft.com/

http://www.scatcrankshafts.com/

http://www.pro-machining.com/

http://www.racespecs.com/

http://www.arrowprecision.co.uk/crank_request.php

http://www.specialist-components.co.uk/cnb/shop/sconline?articleID=9&op=article-related_products

I have even solidworks cad drawing about crank, too bad that its not accurate Tongue

Custom flywheels and rods i could get from here Finland, but have no need  Smiley
I remember Udo Becker saying that best crank materials or cranks are made at germany or sweden...but i have heard that ferrari f1 cranks have been made out of finnish ovako steel  some years ago Grin

Alex, I really like the WBX crank and use one myself, but for the cost you are going to incur trying to have a custom Type 1 crank made with the Type 4/WBX flywheel, it would be cheaper to have your case modified for the thrust bearing on the #2 main, and run a much stronger flanged crank with the much more durable thrust bearing arrangement.

Exotic parts make your wallet real light when you blow them up. Just run standard parts until you get your combo all sorted then you can step up to exotic cranks and such. Much cheaper that way.

I have had before 2276cc with CB heads FK10 2x48 drlas etc. Maybe about 20 000 miles perhaps. Later it did have  fuel injection with 48 tb's.  Now hunger for more power, thinking 86x94 or 86x101,6 engine with JPM ms230 heads and his cam.. Pics of thin case with 101,6 bore  don't look yet so appealing Cheesy

"I remember Udo Becker saying that best crank materials or cranks are made at germany or sweden.."

These are the old days that never come back, remember berg cranks also were forged in sweden . Those countries have the best steel in the world , that is for shure
