OK on my 2110 if I drive it for 30 min or so at 3200 rpm it will blow oil all over the engine out of the breather filter that I have on the alt stand. If I slow it down to 2800 rpm for the return trip home it does not blow oil. On the Dyno making pulls to 7000rpm it would drip out the draft tube after a couple of pulls. I understand the 7000 rpm issue as there are no extra breather hoses hooked up.

If I vent the case from the fuel pump block off and the alt stand to a breather box and not the valve covers will it let enough pressure off the case to stop the oil blowing out? I have found on here that some say that there is no need to vent the 3/4 valve cover because it fills with oil due to windage. And if the psi is building in the case then venting the 1/2 side will cause the oil in that head to be kept up there by the pressure going to the vent in that valve cover.

So what are your thoughts on Venting? And what do you run on your car?

Thanks this is my first stroker and any help would be great.

...speaking of venting.

I have 1/2" hose nipples on my valve covers.  Can someone recommend some 1/2" hose that is especially flexible so it can come off the valve cover and double back through the front tin without kinking?  The stuff I found that is "super-flexible" is $20.00 per foot  Shocked

I just found some springs that would fit on the inside of the hose. This helped it from collapsing when bent.

Ace hardware sells that clear PVC water hose that has a braid imbedded in it.
Has the look of braided hose, but super cheap and looks good. I use it for all my breathers. Comes in normal sizes too.

Also, if you are throwing oil after 30min of highway driving, I think maybe you are overheating the motor.

It seems to be more related to the 3200 + rpm for a few min. The Berge temp sender didnt show hot and it will make contact at about 195~205 tested on the stove with oil in a pot. The oil level was mid way between add and full when I pulled out for the trip and didnt fall to the add mark even with the oil blowing out. It just looks like alot when its all over the place.

So would you vent the Valve Covers or just from the Fuel Pump Block off and the Alt Stand?

You do all of those locations.
Thousands of big engines have been built this way, IT WORKS.  No need to talk about it.

this is what I did. 1 hose from 1-2 valve cover to the breather tower. 1 hose from breather tower to a GWD breather tube. 1 hose from fuel pump location to a GWD breather tube, 1 hose from a GWD breather tube to "opened environment" in left side fenderwell Grin Seems to work very well. I do not vent left side valve cover.

I agree with what Bruce says.
Just do it all you can.
The better you can vent it, the less oil you'll have on your header, apron, and decklid to wipe off.

I have the same venting on my 2276cc race motor that sees 8,000rpm. It's dry as a popcorn fart.

That's a pretty dry fart!   I vented mine to the exhaust  right  behind the collector  "header side"    with a check valve    never had a leaking issue with any my 1904 that saw 7500 every day

other things to check or can add to the extra case psi: bad exhaust valve guides, ring gap, broken rings, barrels not straight or scars in them. Smiley
