Cal looking a '66...
«

Hi Guys,
Just bought myself a '66 beetle and im going for the cal look. I am seriously thinking of removing the gutters - they're shot anyway - and having a nice smooth look to the car. My question is are the gutters needed to help structure the car in anyway? Also, am I going to have any issues with rain water?
If any of you have done this or know any problems that come with doing it or any advice at all let me know.
Cheers
Greg

So is it not worth doing then? The gutters are a mess to be honest and will need a fair bit of work to recover anyway. It may be a lot of work but how hard is it?

Well you have to start by cutting off the drip rail like every two inch's and just weld & grind weld & grind weld & grind weld & grind weld & grind weld & grind weld & grind weld & grind weld & grind weld & grind weld & grind weld & grind weld & grind weld & grind weld & grind weld & grind and you get the point Alot of work. But if you got skillz have at it .. I was thinking on just doing the sides! Now That would be hot!
