Bob Hoover passed away

This may be old news to some of you, but I just recently read where Bob Hoover had passed away.  I got hooked on him back when I read the Sermans of Bob Hoover.  I enjoyed his writing style and his wit.  This was the post on his blog:

It is my sad duty to tell all of you who read Bob's blog that Bob passed away this past Friday, August 13. How much he will be missed is incalcuable. Thank you all for all the support you have given him. I'm his wife. He was a great man.

I didn't know that, Don, and I'm sad to hear it.

Like you, I loved reading his Sermons during the early days of the Internet. His style and insights reminded me of John Muir and the Idiot Book.
