Back in the day when I worked as a crank grinder at an engine rebuilding shop, they kept a big stock of Silverline bearings for the rebuilds. That's what I know about Silverline. That's been 20 years and I don't imagine they are made in the US anymore.

Maybe they are, but I doubt it

That's what my machinist used also, but I thought they were made in Brazil?

I have a set of Silverline bearings that I got from my supplier within the last year. There made in Mexico. The wed-site on the bottom of the box is; www.silverline.com.mx   The box doesn't look that old but I have no idea when they were made.

Please give us your feedback once you have test-fitted them. I'm pretty sure quite a few of us are curious  Wink

I think they have a better material than the ks and mahle made in brasil. Heavier and more steel in it . Hope they work good and have the correct diameter

i've used the silverline bearings in a few cases the last months and they all have fit very well and worded good - much better than the KS and Mahle.
Currently a set of Mahle bearings has damaged a new built engine after about the first 25 min.  f***
