You might want to get a hold of Dune Buggy Dale Adams. He lives in Annapolis and might know the guy.

My friend was asking me about the Adam Wik motor. He was told it was 84x96 but that doesn't add up to 2388cc. What's the combo for 2388cc? What are the 96mm cylinders like for street driving?
He wants to be able to make long trips or cruise around town in this thing. I told him to ask more questions about the engine, such as heads, valve size, etc. Who makes the 96mm P/C's and how are the cooling fins on them?
He's actually not crazy about the huge motor but really likes the rest of the car. He's been looking for a ragtop car for a loooooong time. He lost a nice car in a shop fire a while back and wants an early rag to replace it.
Anyone know of a nice oval or early ragtop for sale? Even stock is Ok for the right price. he has cash ready for the right car!

The car I believe was a west coast car and now is here on the east. Looks to be a sweet car and look at the sellers name. Thats the guy who owns the "phantom" ghia...the low light pro stock car.    But the bug sure does look good!!

I wasnt gonna do this, but what the hell......if I can help the guy out, why not. If he buys that car, tell him Ill trade the 2388 turbo motor for my much more mild and streetable aspirated 2054. Hey, anything I can do to help.

Ah, that makes more sense. Don't know why I didn't think of that. It's listed as a 2388 and my friend said he was told it was 84 x 96. I was wondering if it had some funky Autocraft P/C's or something, but 86x94 makes more sense.
If there's any engine trading going on, I have a freshly rebuilt 2276 to offer him! Smiley) That turbo motor would look nice in my '63, huh?
