My son wants to install adjustable springplates on his 67 but doesn't have the cash for SAW. Does anyone have any experience or info on the $85.00 ones from Serrano's? Thanks JD

I'd stick with stock spring plates.  I don't know anyone with adjustable spring plates that actually adjusts them.  They stick them on, then never adjust them.  Even if you do adjust them, you still have to get a wheel alignment every time you do it.  The toe-in changes with rear ride height.

I know once you set your heigth, people rarely adjust them. He is looking for an easy way to set it rather than trial and error to get the car equal on both sides. The car is 1/8 inch higher on the drivers side.

I have them on 3 of my bugs, I love them. On my race bug i have them with limmiter straps, so when i adjust them, im putting more or less tension on my torsion bars to make the car launch the way i like it to.
On my street car i used them to get that perfect ride hight, without them it was either to high or to low for my taste.

I have ones from Latest Rage. Been on it for 5 years,no problems. I adjust them depending on which engine I am using and track condition.  Tim
