Well all you western ACVW drag racers, you have a nostalgia orginization you can race with.  It's ANRA and they run a real sweet event.  I participated in their event yesterday and I wiil be returning for more.  Go to www.anra.com to see their website.  All their races are at LACR in Palmdale, www.lacr.net.  Yesterday it was me in compitition and Eric and Scott with The Red Baron doing some tnt.  Hope to see some VW's at the next race.

I figured that the VW racers were saving their stuff for Sac.  I won.  No body beat me on the tree.  In the first rd. I had a .007 lite but so did the other guy.  We both went for the strip and he broke out by .02 and I was good by .02.  The rest of the rds. I had to use the brakes.  Was cutting .02 and .01 lites most of the time.

Thanx for the compliment.  Eric & Scott didn't do any full passes.  They were just trying different fuel settings and launchs.  There was a pretty high mph head wind and the fast cars were having a scarey time at the top end.  By the way, your car would be great there.  Look up the classes on their website.
