What do you guys think about airshocks? My 1970 came with a brand new set installed on the rear. I'm not talking airbags here...I'm talking old school air shocks.
Here are a couple of crappy pics (it's hard to get a good shot underneath the car). I don't see any brand name anywhere. There's a single "fill" valve on the drivers side. It says "200max 25 min". There's a cross-over tube to the passenger side.
Would these work on a daily driver? It will be stock height in the rear with upgraded drums and a sway bar. I won't be auto-crossing and will rarely see the drag strip. Just spirited street driving, on ramp assaults and ricer attacks.
How are these shocks for my intended purpose? How will adding or subtracting air affect the handling? Will it have much effect on rear ride height?
