Adjusting thermostat vanes....
«

I got my engine tin back from the powder coaters (60% gloss black...nice) and was reassembling the thermostat linkage/vanes. The slots for the screws in the shroud have some adjustment in them. What's the proper way to set up the vanes? Does the shroud need to be on the engine to do it properly?
