Plans are to continue cleaning up, and getting rid of the "hokey" stuff. It is a friends car he asked me to give it a make over. He is very pleased with the progress.
I am trying to give it some Hotrod attitude, but keeping it simple. This has been a very fun little project. I will post more pics this weekend.

Engine done. Runs great. Interior just about done. Bought this older flat wood wheel I think it really fits the look.

A big difference, and it looks really good.
I have one suggestion, however: move the fuel filter to before the fuel pump, preferably outside of the engine compartment, in the line above the tranny between the metal fuel line coming out of the left frame horn and the metal line going into the front breast plate (into the engine compartment).
The problem with where you have it right now is that, if the plastic filter ruptures, or the lines leak at the connections to the filter, it will leak onto the top of the distributor cap, causing a fire. In any event, there is no need to filter the fuel on the pressure side of pump, as there is a screen in the pump and you will be filtering the fuel before it reaches the pump with an auxiliary filter.
My 1.5 cents.

I have 2 filters on car the one after pump is just to keep an eye on fuel pump since car has been sitting. After a couple little test drives away goes the second fuel filter. Thanks for the concern and the compliments on the car.
