Looks very nice! Neat that yours is on the street same time as mine. These projects sure take work and time. What clutch and trans did you end up with? Also, what is that plastic tank used for, is it for water injection? Is it controlled by the Electromotive?

Thank you Martin -- Gonna start with a ancient stage 2 with a good disc and see how long it lasts -- The trans is a junker and is in there until it breaks LOL -- Bus trans and IRS is in the future, but the finances need to improve -- Like everyones elses -- So the 185's are my safety valve to keep from breaking things LOL -- The tank is for the inner cooler, the pump is turned on at .5 lbs of boost and doesn't shut off until the engine goes under 2000 RPM, the radiator is a oil cooler mounted down next to the trans, it is controled by the Electromotive, which also controls my boost

Your burnout looks pretty even. I don't see a rear engine brace in your pics. I don't have a rear brace on mine as it went on my wife's 65 bug while my car was apart. Mine has the Berg mid mount which has been doing ok. How's your trans holding up? Steve talked about building me a 5 spd sequential trans (shifts like a motorcycle) with a hyd clutch, wow that'd be nice.

weld  washers to the apron where the bolts holes are and bolt it in and it will not fall off!

Very cool Idea, but was wanting an easier/faster way to get it off, if and when it gets to the track (turbo exhaust is RIGHT there on left side), and didn't want duiz fittings showing when it was on the street -- BUT another solution is being tried, will post some pictures when I have some time..... Next steps, change the oil and then get it back down to Shear speed for some dyno time.

Gonna work on the Ovalholio tomorrow -- slowly checking things off that could be screwing with me -- tomorrow, new KILLER plug wires (at least they almost killed me paying this much for a set of wires LMAO) and a NEW set of 100# injectors that I picked up this week --- They had some cool plugs that change the EV-6 plugs to EV-1's which I had on my car. that was one of the reasons I didn't want to change to a newer style of injectors was I was going to have to change the plugs on my harness. Problem solved.

Fired the oval up to play with the tuning a month ago and heard a death rattle at start up. It went away as soon as the oil pressure came up, BUT, I was already reaching over to shut it off ----- when you hear the rattle, it is time disassemble  --- Well with all the BS with the fuel system and other chit I guess I should of expected this...

I'm thinking the Ghia will be better suited for my bucket list to the salt in Sept soooooooo I'm thinking the oval has to go and all the stuff will be transfered over to the Ghia

park that thing and come over and help Buster and I. We are short on pit crew members. We need someone to tow Buster around.
