Just busting your balls Jon -- Love you man ---

But look what followed me home tonight -- And the Old Lady is already busting my ballls over it

Thinking of throwing away the 1835 that came with it and sticking a little bitty motor I've got that nobody wants to buy in it -- --- can you say sleeper

Man that trailer just doesn't look right without the Fiat on it

You'll have to change your handle from "fiatdude" to "rossiguy" Grin

Think this one will stand on the bumper like the fiat did? Wink

THE project has offically started -- -- Boy did I spend some money today

Went to JE and bough a set of new 4" slugs for the mill -- Thanks to Mario at Pauter for getting my mind right and Paul at JE for taking care of me

New Pauter Roller rockers --

New Turbo --

New Electromotive Fuel injection system -- Thanks Nemo for putting it on your shelf a long time ago and then letting me have it for a dance

Anybody want a set of 48 IDF's or an orginal set of Berg rockers with a 1 stamped on the arms

That car is so totally off the hook -- I promise that I won't even drink any of your booze -- I'll just stand there and drool -- I'll keep my hands in my pockets even (just playing pocket pool)

Won't look for any of Marty's speed secrets -- I'll be a really good boy I promise

Here is the itty-bitty turbo I picked up -- as you can see a quarter will barely fit in the intake and the out is just a bit bigger than a dime -- The exhaust is slightly bigger than 1" square

Yes I do!!!!!!! Make an offer

I want to give a shout out to my friend Allen Nimmo --This guy has had some very fast toys and owns Performance Techniques Turbos in San Bernardino (909) 824-1020 -- He has done everything from the drags to boats to the Salt -- He even has done R&D for Don Pauter in the years past.  He has helped me with alot of input in getting this project off the ground. If you need any thing Turbo or Electromotive. He is your guy. Here are some pictures of his shop. the second is where all the oops end up LOL

Holy Crap -- -- This is one for the books  -- --

Trying to get the compression down to 8.5 for the motor and with the dished pistons the .020 and .030 trims of the pistons actually increased the compression LOL

Finally at .040 the compression was down to 8.6 to one -- close enough LOL

Get some close up pics of your machined pistons. I'd like to see what you've had done so far with them.

I see that you have lost the squish area at the plug side of the chamber. That's the .040 dish, right? Are you running .040 deck height? Could you have used a bathtub shape dish to keep the squish and still get down to 8.5:1 I wonder.
