Cal-Look.com, The SHRINE consists of John Plow and Michael Rhodes, with contributions from a number of very talented and knowledgeable people, many of whom you will find on the site as Members in the Members Gallery, and some as writers for the Technical section.

John Plow has been heavily involved with VWs since the late 1980s, and his love for the marquee and dedication to the sub-culture has produced an enthusiasm in promoting the "Cal Look" worldwide. John felt that there was a real need for a quality Cal Look site on-line, and as a result, John contacted his friend of twenty-years, Internet Developer and fellow car enthusiast Michael Rhodes, who's responsibility it was to turn the vast amount of content into a site which meets the needs of this sub-culture.

The combination of the two talents has yielded a fun, clean, comprehensive and straight forward web presence which is growing on a weekly basis. The site seems to have captured the character of the car - a web page which echoes the construction of traditional Cal Look cars, with clean and subtle design, yet providing the content and substance enthusiasts want to see.
